PROJECT ENGINEER
Responsibilities;
- prepare and present technical dossiers concerning the detailed engineering of the project, in order to assist the Contract or project manager in co-coordinating the development of the Project
- Assist the project management team to ensure Compliance with Company Safety objectives throughout the life of the project
- Provide technical assistance and advice to the project and contract manager in developing and coordinating the required engineering studies.
- prepare dossiers for Company, partners, authorities as required
- coordinate the reporting on technical matters
- assist disciple engineers in periods of work overload
- Keep a permanent contact with the contractors on engineering matters.
- Constantly informed of all activities on the project in order to replace his supervisor in case of absence.
- Assist the Contract Manager in the management of specific contracts or Purchase orders.
- Represent project regarding, protecting company’s interests and influencing decisions
- Interface with specialists externally and internally.
- Ensure technology transfer to staff supervised.
Qualifications;
- Engineering degree with 5 to 10 years relevant experience.
- A level of expertise in a specific discipline.
- Knowledge of one or more of the following; engineering, construction, platform installation, hook-up, safety, tender & contract negotiation, cost control, planning, contractor & project team management.
- Fluent spoken & written English.
SENIOR PROCESS ENGINEER
Responsibilities;
- Produce conceptual studies of processes.
- Provide process assistance to project teams.
- Provide process assistance to operations affiliates
- Take part in or ensure process follow-up for R&D projects
- To take an active part in improving the know-how of the Process department
Skills;
- Physical and chemical properties of oil products
- Chemical engineering, thermodynamics & fluid flow
- Oil effluent treatment processes
- Utilities required for operating installations
- Specialist applications: PRO II, OLGA or specialist software
- International standards, payments
- Knowledge of industrial engineering constraints
Qualifications;
- Engineering degree in Chemical, Gas and Petroleum.
- 5 to 10 years professional experience including 3 years in process & 2 years in project supervising.
- Additional 2 years experience in operational process preferred.
- Fluent spoken & written English.
