Tately N.V is one of the most active international oil and gas companies operating in Indonesia today. The Indonesian office is the main operating office of the group, who operate three PSCs ( Palmerah, Lhokseumawe and Budong-Budong ) with interests also offshore East Kalimantan. They are looking for highly motivated and skilled Indonesian national to fill the following positions :
Both positions require at least 5-15 years of proven oil and gas experience, preferably in a broad range of operated PSCs, and are open to candidates with a bright, positive, high-energy self-started mentality, who can demonstrate the ability to work independently and within multi-disciplined teams.
Senior Geologist ( REF 07/ 0336 )
· Strong skills in structural and stratigraphic analysis, geochemistry and biostratgraphy
· Mastery of basic geologic programmes such as petrophysics, mapping and crossection preparation
· Hands-on knowledge of drilling operations, including well logging, mud-logging and coring
Senior Geophysicist ( REF 07 / 0345 )
Your 2-D and 3-D workstation interpretation experience will include knowledge of :
· Attribute and AVO analysis
· Seismic sequence stratigraphy
· Play and prospect maturation
· Gridding, contouring, volumetrics and risking
You will also need to demonstrate practical experience of seismic acquisition, processing and data management practice and performance, and to possess geological interpretation skills with an understanding of structural and stratigraphic analysis
