Our Client, a Leading Television Broadcasting Company, is urgently seeking excellent professionals to strengthen their dynamic team.
We invite suitable candidates to take up the challenge of:
GENERAL MANAGER
BROADCASTING OPERATIONS & ENGINEERING
Main Job Responsibilities:
Select, train, coordinate, delegate work to, monitor and evaluate Broadcast Operations and Engineering Staff.
Maintain the broadcast network availability at a level of 99.99%.
Fully understand the mission and goals of the company and communicate this to Broadcast Operations and Engineering Staff.
Provide regular updates on the status of the Broadcast Operations, Master Control, Project, M&E Outdoor Broadcasting, M&E Studio, ENG Facilities, Asset Management and Maintenance Engineering.
Ensure adequate spare parts are available to minimize MTTR and maximize availability; update in Asset Management System.
Ensure corporate governance policies are adhered to within the division.
Ensure operations and maintenance procedures are adequate and kept up to date to promote efficient workmanship.
Develop and provide budgetary information for the operation and maintenance of Broadcast Operations and Engineering.
Manage Research and Development activities.
Personal Requirements:
Bachelor Degree in Broadcast Technology field or science related discipline.
Minimum of 8 years hands-on experience in an on-air broadcast environment.
In depth knowledge of Automation System, Digital Television, MPEG Video and Audio Techniques.
Able to recognize video and audio impairments
Knowledge of principles of digital and analog communication systems
Understanding of multi-platform on-air environment would be an advantage.
Good communication and interpersonal skills with good command of spoken and written English.
Sound computer knowledge.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Able to work under pressure.
